A Whitby, a monkey, and a can of soup.
It couldn't happen, could it? But it could! In : The Twilight Zone, otherwise known as my subconscious while asleep. So, then. ( Featuring Whitby, monkeys, and, er, soup. And gorgons. )I like remembering my dreams. Really not sure whether this one constitutes a nicemare, a nightmare, or just pure 'What on earth?', so I shall leave it with my ickle fluffy Morpheus icon. You know how sometimes nightmares are full of things that should in no way be frightening, but are? So that when you try and explain the next morning how you were being chased by venomous spoons and couldn't get away because Homer Simpson had stolen your left leg...yeah. You know what I mean. ( Last night was a bit like that. )"Budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie, budgie - Seagull! Seagull!" The fish that started it all.
But seriously. The points at which it was decided that I have stranger dreams than any mortal should be allowed to have are in my other journal's Memories, but I thought it might be worth linking them, for anyone who, the first time round, missed the... Revolutionary fish.Or the armies, random piercings and, well, fish. The end of the world as we know it dream wasn't as weird but was fairly impressive, so I'll link to that as well. Or, possibly, I'm just bored and looking for ways to make you all suffer... Current Mood: bored | | 9:07 am |
And then I wrote it up. And then I woke up. And then I wrote it up. And then I woke up. And then...
It makes a certain amount of sense that I should dream about vaguely relevant things and then dream that I've written them up in this journal. And then wake up, and be annoyed that I'd dreamed that I'd written it up and not actually done it, so gone to immediately write it up. And then woken up, and...so on. The result is that I think I've lost a lot of the details, because the back of my head is convinced I've already written them down. Ah well. It's not like it was all that interesting anyway. ( Alfalfa and goths. )And then I woke up, cursed Morpheus for landing me with a dream that nice and making me wake up from it, and came in here to type it up, except, obviously, I didn't. There are far worse nicemares to wake up from, but this was slightly infuriating all the same. Current Mood: awake | | Saturday, December 20th, 2003 | | 6:33 pm |
